1 In a small saucepan, melt the butter and sauté the garlic and other seasonings.
2 Place the whole chicken on a flat tray and tie it with string. Pour half of the seasoned butter solution over the chicken.
3 Place the potatoes, carrots, and onions around the chicken then drizzle with the remaining butter.
4 Preheat the oven, bake the chicken at 176 degrees Celsius for about 30 to 60 minutes. Basting or coat the chicken with the spices on the tray, bake again for 30-60 minutes.
5 Use a thermometer to check the level of doneness of the chicken. If the temperature has reached 70-75 degrees Celsius, cover the surface with aluminum foil so it doesn't burn.
6 Bake again about 10-15 minutes. Then, serve with vegetables and complementary sauce.
